Fibre Recovery Process

Significant investment by the Palm Paper Group in their UK paper manufacturing operations means the fibre material we send for recycling is processed using some of the most advanced sorting and recovery techniques available.
In fact, we regularly achieve outthrow rates of 1% or less, against an industry average of anything between 2% and 15%.

In a mixture of automated and manual processes, paper and cardboard material is first separated and then sorted into more refined streams to ensure the highest quality of raw material for recycling.

Taking delivery from bring bank and kerbside collections as well as direct material consignments from local authorities, charities and commercial clients, our processing sites across the UK work to standardised sorting and separation procedures.

So wherever it is processed, the recovered fibre material we send for recycling is of a guaranteed quality that meets the high standards of Palm Paper.
