Palm Paper Mill

Papierfabrik Palm is one of Europe’s leading names in the paper industry. Founded in 1872, it specialises in producing quality newsprint and corrugated case material.
In 2009, to add to its existing 4 paper mills and 18 corrugated plants in Europe and marking the company’s first venture, Palm completed its new PM7 machine at King’s Lynn, Norfolk – the largest and most powerful newsprint paper machine in the world.

The facility has the capability to produce 450,000 tonnes of newsprint per annum. The production is based entirely on quality selected recovered paper, which is sourced from local authority collections, press rooms, commercial sectors and various other sources.

The closed loop system between Palm Recycling and the Palm Paper mill ensures that all recovered paper material, once collected and reprocessed, can be in circulation again as newsprint within a short time period.
